Marissa’s passion for nutrition education brought her to the CrossFit community in 2011. As a mother, wife, Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, CrossFit coach, and athlete, she seeks to provide practical, personalised nutrition recommendations for clients of all ages. Some of her specialties include sports nutrition, weight management, digestive health, blood sugar regulation, perinatal nutrition and baby led weaning and autoimmune disease.

After playing collegiate soccer she fell in love with mountain biking and hiking. In recent years her focus has turned to  strength and technique for bigger olympic lifts! 

Marissa created CookWOD in hopes motivating people to work towards their health goals through eating nutrient dense meals that are created efficiently in their own kitchen.
