WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
To us it is a way of exercising, learning new skills, and having fun with a group of likeminded people, gaining new friends and is potentially lifestyle changing... for the better. All of this in a supportive, fun and welcoming environment. CrossFit isn't only for fit people, or for youngsters. Our classes are genuinely full of people of all ages and fitness abilities. Everything that we do is scalable to your capabilities.
The quote by CrossFit veteran Pat Sherwood sums it up far better than we could -
"The goal is to get fit, make it the best hour of your day, stay safe, turn up the music, high five some people and blow off some steam. So remember that. Relax, Have fun. Work out. "
A chance to really focus on your weightlifting technique. Each hour is dedicated to either the snatch or the clean and jerk. We follow 4 and 6 week cycles of each movement, each time really focusing on the one aspect that is going to make you a better lifter. Again, this class is always fully coached.
This will be full of heavy lifting and sweat. Don't let the name put you off, this class is ideal for all levels of strength and ability. You don’t have to be strong, and you don’t have to be a man.
