Dan – Coach
Dan started CrossFit in 2012 after his regular gym routine became stale and boring - like most of us. The first workout he ever tried was Barbara (five rounds for time: 20 Pull-ups, 30 Push-ups, 40 Sit-ups, 50 Squats (rest 3 mins between rounds)) - using strict pull ups with his home pull up bar. He can't remember the exact time but thinks it was around 40mins. It sounds like she absolutely killed his butt! Since then he joined his first Box where he began to learn what CrossFit was really about. Being surrounded by regional athletes and some of the best coaches in the CrossFit community, he applied for the CrossFit Thames Internship program. He has since coached at a number of Boxes across London, including: Reebok CF Thames, CF 1864, CF London, CF Battlebox, CF SE11 and CF Bold.
